SEO URL
General informationen
To make a webpage visible for the search machines there are several possibilities. The first possibility are the so-called metatags and the side description. In the toendaCMS administrator these values are located in "Side -> Systemsettings" under the tab "Metadata".
The second possibility are the so-called SEO URL's.
Search machines indicate a web page as HTML file. They stoping only with a question mark in the URL. Therefore exists the SEO (Search Engine Optimized) URL's. Because there are no question mark in the URL, all sides can be indicated (search machines scanning also contents of the pages).
Description
If your URL look so "index.php?id=frontpage" search machines like Google indicated your page only to the question mark in the URL. This means that they can only indicate the frontpage.
If you format your URL like this "index.php/section:frontpage" or this "index.php/section/frontpage" the search machines can indicate all pages. They indicated the pages like real HTML pages.
The format (this "index.php/section:frontpage" or "index.php/section/frontpage") is only your matter of taste. Wiki's often use "index.php/section:frontpage", but most of the company's prefer "index.php/section/frontpage".
